Mediterranean palm trees for warm weather
If you are looking for palm trees that withstand high temperatures and direct sun exposure, at our garden center you will find different species, appropriate for gardens located in warm or hot areas. One of the most demanded is the Arecastrum romanzoffianum. It is a fast-growing plant, very decorative and widely used along the Mediterranean coast.
We grow our palm trees coming from young nurseries in our garden center, located in a Mediterranean area.
We provide the necessary care for their correct development (base and further fertilizer application in spring and fall, watering...).
We have palm trees of different ages and sizes, so that you can choose the most suitable one for your needs.
Palm trees adapted to cold weather
At Benages Plants we also grow palm trees with a higher ability to adapt to low temperatures.
One of the species we grow is the Trachycarpus fortuneii, which stands out for being one of the palm trees that best withstand cold weather. This is due to the fact that its trunk is covered in high-density fibers, which protect the plant from heat and cold.
In general, these palm trees are able to withstand frost and persistent snow, which makes them really interesting for areas with sub-zero temperatures.

You will be able to choose from our huge variety of palm trees. We grow the main species, used in landscaping and garden design, such as Trachycarpus fortuneii, Arecastrum romanzoffianum, Washingtonia robusta or Yucca rostrata, among others.
You can come visit our facilities and choose yourself the palm trees that best adapt to your garden. And if it is not possible, we will take care of selecting the best specimens for you.
